Gv Opens Winery At 575 Oakville Cross Road
Fall of 2006 Gargiulo Vineyards completed a state-of-the-art winery at 575 Oakville Crossroad. The winery's outside appearance will continue Gargiulo's modest farm aesthetic. By contrast, the inside will contain the most recent advances in winemaking technologies. St Helena architect, Karen Roberts, has been working with the Gargiulo family for over two years on the winery plans. The new winery will provide Gargiulo with ample space for their small 5,000 case production and fulfill their dream of a true estate winery.

575 OVX
It's finally happening; our first harvest off of 575 OVX (Oakville Crossroad). Again, we named the vineyard after its physical location, and why not?! It is a jewel-box vineyard situated on Oakville's eastern edge. Sandwiched between Rudd to the north and Screaming Eagle to the south, this unique nine acre property is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petite Verdot. It has a beautiful vein of red earth that runs through it and enjoys both hillside and valley floor plantings. Look out for a killer '04 Bordeaux blend. June 2004

We all participated, so be on the look-out for us as well as our label. Easy Entertaining airs Fridays at 5:30pm and Sundays at 12:30pm. May 2004
Gargiulo Vineyards' Barrel Receives Highest Bid at 2003 Napa Valley Wine Auction
"Newcomers among the Napa establishment also made their own marks this year. The top bid for a case of wine in the barrel auction was $10,000, a tie between Gemstone Winery and Gargiulo Vineyards. Gargiulo beat the odds with Merlot, a sleekly textured, complex wine that demonstrated just how good that variety can be in a region where Cabernet is king." - Jeff Morgan, Wine Enthusiast June 12, 2003
Gargiulo Vineyards was also a part of the 6th highest live auction lot, Oakville Growers Association. This lot included an etched magnum of our 2000 Aprile Super Oakville Blend and fetched $160,000. The 2003 Napa Valley Wine Auction generated over $6 million for local charities and is the world's largest charity auction.
